just finished season two of hannibal and i am so stunned and actually crying oh my god. i spent the last like five minutes of the last episode with my jaw dropped in shock

started crying first because hannibal seemed genuinely heartbroken at will’s betrayal (i say seemed because the last scene of him on the plane, escaping with his psychiatrist who i thought was against hannibal (?), has confused me as to what his motives and her motives are. but let’s be fr, he plays to confuse everyone so that is the point). BUT he was on the verge of tears when confronting will in the kitchen and you cannot tell me that wasn’t genuine pain in his eyes

HE KEPT ABIGAIL FOR WILL AND WANTED TO SURPRISE HIM?!?! GAHHHH like whattttttt that’s insane. i feel insane. is it like fucked up cause it’s basically kidnapping and is he majorly fucked up in many ways? yes. however, he was planning to run away with will and start a new life and had saved their daughter to surprise him with for that new life!! so they could be a family!!! like oh my fucking god i cannot

and then to acknowledge will’s betrayal, to look him in the eyes and be like ‘i let you in and let you see me when i spend every waking second spinning webs for everyone and you didn’t want me’ like that’s tragic. i cried.

but then of course he goes and kills abigail because can’t let her live nooooo and he does it in front of will and leaves them to bleed out with each other and both his action and will’s reaction were so heartbreaking.

and the last words being how he forgives will even though will saw his truth and didn’t want him?? and then asking if will can forgive him?? i’m throwing myself out the window alana bloom style what the fuckkkk
